Yellow skin and eyes may be caused by several health conditions, liver cancer included. If you have cancer cells, they may start blocking the bile ducts and then the substance flows into your blood instead of small intestine. If this happens, the person’s skin and eyes turn yellow. Bile is toxic if it gets into the blood and spreads all around the body. The patient then experiences severe itching, dark urine and light-colored stool. Jaundice does not necessarily mean that you have liver cancer, yet immediate treatment is required.
