1. Processed Meats
According to researchers, if you consume such foods as sausages, ham and bacon, you run a higher risk to get cancer. A study lasting for almost 13 years involved 10 European countries. The findings were published in the journal of BMC Medicine where it was warned that excessive salts and chemicals in meats are dangerous to our health. The study has proved that people who consumed 160 g or more of various processed meats were 44% more likely to die prematurely within 12 years. Those who ate little of it (20 g or less) were healthier.
