4. Periods can affect female brains.
It is probably a myth rather than an established fact that women become overly emotional during periods. The level of hormones does not always affect women’s behavior. Hormones influence not only female brains but also male brains, although men do not have periods. Scientists report that during menstrual periods the female brains are flooded with estrogen, testosterone and progesterone. These three hormones are responsible for how we feel and how we act. They also influence our mood, memory and sexuality. Do not believe those who say that this happens only once a month. Hormones stay active every day.
