Passeio Público is  well-known park that is located close to Avenida Beira-Mar. The spot was designed in the late 1770s by several talented artists. It is the oldest park in Brazil and one of the oldest parks in America. The sculptures that stand in the park were created by Mestre Valentim while pavilions are decorated with paintings by Joaquim.
