The red carpet event welcomed dozens of celebrities some of which looked stunning. Others shocked us with their outfits. Finally, there were a few who preferred to look avant garde. That was a great occasion for the most popular designers to compete with each other.

The race went wild – some of the gowns we saw at the ball will be remembered for a very long time. Rei Kawakubo is the designer who inspired most of the looks. His conceptual approach stuns people. Celebrities seemed to be absolutely proud of wearing his creations. 

Let’s admit that Anna Wintour looked traditional in her dress. We cannot deny it – she looked elegant. But didn’t we want to see her in something more challenging?

Have a look at the Comme des Garons that Pharrell was in. The jeans are ripped. There is “REI” across the pants. Most of us would think that a pair of jeans is not the right choice of clothing for a red carpet event. Let’s give it another thought – maybe elegant slacks would look too boring? We cannot ignore the fact that the singer would look less bright since his wife Helen’s red dress was something totally unexpectedly weird.
