Animals live in the hottest spots of the globe. There are plenty of living creatures in areas where temperatures are the lowest. It seems flora and fauna can survive in places where humans can’t.

Not only do animals live in the most unusual locations, they also look unusual.

1. Blobfish

Do not trust our description. Just google the name and you’ll see something shocking indeed. This species lives in the waters between Australia and Asia. It is not even possible to describe what this fish looks like. To some it might look ugly. Others will call it funny. The fact is that there are too few animals that would look as strange as the blobfish.

2. Sunda Colugo

Squirrels look cute. Bats look scary. Now imagine a combination of these two species and you’ll get an idea of what the sunda colugo might look like. You can see this creature all across Southeast Asia.
