1. Buenos Aires, Argentina

You might see that Christmas in Argentina reminds of New Year’s Eve that is celebrated elsewhere in the world. In Buenos Aires the holiday is accompanied with chanting, bonfires, firecrackers and fireworks. Isn’t it crazy and exotic? If that’s too extreme for you, you might want to look for a different destination. However, we do recommend you celebrate your next Christmas there!

2. Lima, Peru

In Lima Christmas is celebrated as cheerfully as it is celebrated in other countries. However, there are a couple of differences. Christmas Eve is spent in the city, around believers who gather and hold mass at 10 p.m. Later on the town is sinking in fireworks. Finally, Peruvian families go home and prepare traditional dishes. They are outstandingly delicious and cannot be found in any other countries.
