There’re a few cool tricks for you to use in the gym. Use them if your goal is to burn as many calories as possible.
1. Running in the Sand
You are lucky if you live close to the beach. Instead of the regular jogging, walking or running along the streets or park, try and do the same routine through the sandy beach. You’ll feel some extra resistance and make your lungs and muscles work harder.
2. Jumping Rope Between Sets
One of the greatest ways to improve your cardiovascular system is to use a jumping rope. At the same time you make your whole body work plus keep your heart rate high enough to burn fat. Do not sit between sets. Instead, skip rope for a minute. Experts call it active recovery – the period of time when your body burns fat and does not break down the lean body mass.
