Weather conditions should be taken into consideration. Check out the weather forecast in order to be aware of the temperature. Do not make your guests attend the party wearing tuxedos if it’s over 90 degrees outside.

4. Too much creativity.

Do not get too creative with your dress code. When sending invitation and clues about the dress code, remember to tell your guests specific things that would not let them get lost in too many interpretations. A ‘relaxed’ dress code may mean jeans and sweaters as well as cocktail dresses and plenty of sequins.
