How to Spot a Fake Gucci Bag

Have a close look at the pockets to tell whether your Gucci is real or fake. The cut of the leather means a lot. Pay attention to the cut that you see around the interior zippered pocket if your bag has one. The cut must be absolutely the same all the way around the pocket. Find a style number. You can see it on the inside tag, close to the place where it is stamped “Made in Italy” and GUCCI. The number consists of 4 or 6 digits. Gucci dust bags come in two kinds: one is dark brown satin with the GG logo on the front – the second G is printed upside down. The other type of dust bags are solid light brown with golden GUCCI on the front. Cards can be copied so do not trust them. However, this brand issues cards with a dark grey background. Underneath this you should see “controllato” written on a white.

How to Spot a Fake Chanel Bag

Chanel handbags are very popular. This is also known to counterfeiters hence they create bags that look just like the original. Your bag is not fake if your bag has interlocking “C’s”, rather than “O’s” that look similar to “C’s”. Pay attention how symmetric is the quilting. Chanel is the brand that does not attach any wrapping or tags to bags. If your handbag comes with a tag, it is definitely a knockoff. New Chanel handbags are sold and sent in black dust bags. There is a ‘Chanel’ written in black on top. Older Chanel bags come in white felt bags – the logo will still be black, though. The bag is stamped with the logo “Chanel” on the inside. Chanel handbags are made in France, which is written under the logo or to the side. Remember that authenticity cards can be copied. So if you are given a card, it does not mean the bag is real.
