Find a rhythm
Now let us see whether you know how to walk in high heels or not. If you’ve been wearing flats up till now, it might take you a few days or even a week to get used to wearing a totally different type of footwear. In fats, you entire foot is put down at one time. This is not possible in high heels – they’ll require you to put your heels first and then your toe. One more thing to remember is that in heels you should place one foot in front of the other. Learn the new “heel to toe” rhythm. The higher the heel, the more careful you need to be. Spreading your toes while putting your foot down on the floor will reduce the risk of trauma or discomfort. You will not feel any teetering either.
Lean back a bit
Do not lean forward when walking in heels. Try and lean back a bit. If you lean forward, you will look as if you’re in a hurry and trying to walk faster. While standing still, keep shifting your weight from one foot to the other – that’s how you’ll alleviate pressure.
