7. Heel Lifts
Lower part of your legs also needs training. Toning up your calves and ankles is not less important. Sit straight with your feet on the ground. Keep your toes on the floor while lifting your heels. Freeze for 5-10 seconds and then repeat the exercise.
8. Jogging
Jogging burns lots of calories. It intensively tones up your muscles as well. Jog if you want to strengthen your calves and other muscles, such as gluteal muscles and quadriceps. Jogging is not less effective than weight training. We do need cardio exercises to stay fit and jogging is one of them. Bear in mind though that jogging should be avoided by people who have serious injuries or issues with their knees.
