Who might ever think that veggies differ from species to species? Some are not as good for us as we would like them to be. Here are some of them:
1. Corn
Lots of products contain corn. It is added to many other foods. Corn is eaten for breakfast, dinner and lunch. We cannot imagine a BBQ without it, either! Unfortunately, you shouldn’t consume too much of it, since this plant is genetically modified. It enters your body giving you a different kind of protein that causes hormonal changes. Corn is given to cattle to make the animals bigger. If corn is your favorite food, opt for organic types.
2. Eggplant
Vegetables that contain solanine should be avoided. One of such veggies is eggplant. If you suffer from joint issues and have chronic inflammation, you are not advised to consume eggplant. This dark purple species also contains oxalates – an element that forms kidney stones. Stay away from eggplants if your kidneys are unhealthy.
