3. Sunlight Is Necessary for Minors
Kids need the sun to grow! Unfortunately, vitamin D deficiency is a common problem typical of regions with colder climate. The reason is believed to be lack of sunlight. Nowadays kids tend to spend too much time at their computers. They stay indoors and rarely go outside. Vitamin D deficiency may be the major cause of bone fractures. Osteoporosis and brittle bones bother even the young. Research shows that children born in August-September usually have stronger bones and grow taller simply because their moms receive plenty of vitamin D via exposure to sunlight. Pregnant women are recommended to spend more time outsides, especially in the summertime.
