3. Pastries
Blood-glucose levels can be boosted by consuming carbs. Pastries belong to some of the foods extremely rich in carbohydrates. But do not forget that the quality of carbs does count and you should not eat unhealthy options. Most pastries are full of fats most of which are too bad since all they do is they clog your arteries. Also, pastries are sweet because there is too much refined sugar in them. Besides the unhealthy fats and sugar, pastries contain tons of calories. Instead of pastries we suggest you should eat a whole wheat toast with some filling and nutritious peanut butter.
4. Flaxseeds
Flaxseeds are wonderful. Eat them on a regular basis, but do not eat them right after your workout session. Eating flaxseeds after exercise is wrong since the food is rich in fiber which will cause you feel bloated. In order to avoid discomfort, wait for a few hours and then feel free to add flaxseeds to your meals. It’s all right to eat flaxseeds as well as bran around two hours before heading to the gym.
