3. Find out how allergic the baby is to foods
Food allergies are quite common. The allergens that bother your baby might be found in foods like soy, nuts and eggs. They are also found in dairy, shellfish and many fruits. In some cases allergies are cause by whole wheat products. Learn to introduce foods to your baby since you never know how well your child’s system will react. Do it at home rather than restaurant or any other public place.
4. Do not avoid allergenic foods
Frequent consumption of allergenic products makes babies resistant to allergens. So let your child eat the foods that might cause an allergic reaction. This is normal and in the beginning there is nothing to be worried about. Allergens should be introduced around twice per week.
5. Make the boring foods delicious
Increase the so-called ‘yum’ factor. Your growing baby can quickly lose interest in some foods and drinks. Be creative and make new dishes to make your child’s menu more delicious and interesting.
