Avocados are full of unsaturated fats. This type of fats is healthy, although as high in calories as any other fat or oil. Besides the unsaturated fats, avocados contain minerals and vitamins that all together strengthen the brain’s functions and increase mental abilities.
6. Oily Fish
It is known that essential fatty acids can’t be formed from the body hence we have to eat the right foods. The brain cannot function well enough if you do not provide it with essential fatty acids. One of the best sources of EFC is oily fish, such as sardines or herring. You may make your menu more varied and add some mackerel, trout and salmon.
