5. Eating in
Ordering healthy food and preparing healthy food are two absolutely different things. Do not trust cafeterias and bars – make your own meal and you will always be in charge of your diet. Control what you put in your mouth – this is the only way to keep track of what you eat and find out how many calories you consume.
6. Reduce the amount of the white stuff
Milk products with artificial fragrances, sweeteners and colors should be excluded. You should also avoid sugar, white rice and white bread. Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives of your favorite products. Eat whole grain bread and wild rice and opt for plain lean yogurt and cottage cheese. You will easily lose extra pounds if you consume more raw vegetables and fruits, lean meats, various kinds of fish and drink plenty of fresh water.
