5. Keep your wrists under cold water. There are hundreds of nerves under out skin. The water will cool you off and wake you up. The sensation that cold water causes occurs when your body release noradrenaline. This hormone is responsible for your feeling energized.
6. Keep your room warm. Turn up the heat and make your body think that it is not yet time to sleep. The cooler your room is, the sleepier you feel. Cold temperatures make us feel like curling up in a ball and going to bed.
