5. Frequently occurring severe headaches
If your headaches can be described as ‘severe’, then you need to see your doctor. This symptom may be accompanied by neck stiffness. Also, you may have a fever. All of these signs are typical of meningitis. If you notice unpleasant sensations around your nose and eyes or have a pressure headache, then you are probably suffering from sinus infection. This feeling occurs when your sinus passages are congested.
6. You have a high fever
A cold and a fever can come along. However, if you have a very high fever, then it can be something different than the common cold. A high fever is typical of patients who have strep throat. In this case the temperature may be as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit and above. It is probable that you will have spikes in your temperature.
