Perhaps you think the food listed below aren’t dangerous. Recently some types of cancer have been diagnosed in almost 1.5 million people. So isn’t it time we all considered what we eat every day?

There are 8 foods which could contain cancerogenic elements. Avoid them at all costs.

1. Processed Meats

Vegetarianism has become more and more popular in recent years. This is completely linked to research on the health effects of meat consumption. Meat is an important element of the human diet, containing the required animal protein. However, excessive consumption of meat, and more specially processed meat such as sausage, can seriously harm your health.

According to the study, if you consume sausages, ham, and bacon, you run a higher risk to get cancer. A study lasting for almost 13 years involved 10 European countries. The findings were published in the journal of BMC Medicine where it was warned that excessive salts and chemicals in meats are dangerous to our health. The study has proved that people who consumed 160 g or more of various processed meats were 44% more likely to die prematurely within 12 years. Those who ate little of it (20 g or less) were healthier. The sheer amount of chemicals found in meat can cause a long list of various diseases, including accelerating the onset of cancer.

Of course, this does not mean that you need to eliminate meat from the diet, especially at a younger age. It is worth using only high-quality meat, not semi-finished products and sausages. However, it is definitely worth paying attention to this product.
