5. Diet Foods
It does not matter which type of diet food you consume – regular or frozen – you still do too much harm to your health. Diet foods are those that are labeled as ‘low fat’, ‘diet’ or ‘zero’. What makes them so low in calories? In fact, the more chemicals and artificial sweeteners food contains, the less calories it has. And, as you already know, chemicals are dangerous. One of the ingredients you might have noticed on packages is aspartame. This artificial sweetener causes a lot of problems, for example, heart issues, birth defects and cancers. Diet foods are usually chemically processed, full of sodium, artificial flavors and colors to attract more consumers. You cannot expect to stay healthy after eating artificial food for years! Do not trust the FDA that claims that artificial foods that are sold in our stores are not harmful – it’s just another marketing trick that is quite successfully used to pump money from society.
6. Alcohol
There are two evils that humankind cannot get rid of. They are alcohol and tobacco. People get addicted to them very quickly. Smoking has no advantages. Consuming alcohol in low or moderate amounts can be beneficial. A glass of red wine reduces risk of heart diseases. If alcohol is consumed too often, it causes stroke and sudden death. To find out what role alcohol plays, in 2007 scientists carried out research and concluded that excessive alcohol use is the main cause of colon, liver, mouth, breast, esophagus and mouth cancer.
