7. Red Meat
T-bone steaks are all right, especially if they are prepared from grass fed beef. Simply eat red meat in moderation and not too frequently. In some cases red meat can even help you prevent some certain types of cancers.
8. Non-organic fruits
The world’s population is steadily growing and, in order to feed us all, the food industry does all possible to produce as much food as possible. This applies to the way how vegetables and fruits are grown as well. To have a good crop, farmers use a lot of pesticides. All pesticides, such as organophosphates, thiodicarb and atrazine are poisonous. Nitrogen fertilizers are also widely spread in agriculture. Some of the above mentioned chemicals are expected to be banned in the nearest future. Washing fruit and veggies removes part of the residue, but not 100%. Right now all we can do is to purchase organic fruits and vegetables.
