7. Steak
It’s not wise to exclude meat from your menu. On the contrary, you should consume meat on a regular basis. The main point is to choose the right type of this food. Its quality also matters a great deal. Replace the worse versions of meat with steak and enjoy all the health benefits: B-vitamins, iron, and protein. Steak is rich in CLA – that’s an acid that helps to maintain healthy weight and develop lean mass. Eat meat in moderation and opt for leaner bits.
8. High Fiber Foods
The level of blood sugar can be improved. Simply follow one simple rule – consume plenty of high fiber foods. It has been estimated that foods that contain a lot of fiber can prevent and fight diabetes. Some of high fiber foods are extremely effective and in some cases diabetics stop taking their medication since after diets full of fiber they no longer need pills. Make sure that on average a person needs 50 grams of fiber per day.
