Vitamin D and its influence on cancers
It is reported that prostate and breast cancer can be prevented by an increased intake of vitamin D. Whether the benefits are real or not is not yet clear. Unfortunately, vitamin D may increase the risk of pancreatic cancer. Currently, Harvard University is carrying out a study to find out how vitamin D influences cancers. What you can do to prevent cancer is to live a healthy lifestyle: improve your diet and do more physical activities.
Vitamin D and Heart Health
Heart disease is one of the major reasons of death in many countries. Studies show that heart disease, stroke and heart attack occur in people whose levels of vitamin D are low. Be careful and do not take too much vitamin D since you will then ruin your blood vessels – your body starts producing lots of calcium if the levels of D are very high.
