It does not matter what you are obsessed with. To be dependent on something is already a negative thing. Nowadays there is a new kind of addiction – selfie obsession. People love taking pictures of themselves. But is this habit healthy?

If not, what are the ways in which it affects our health? Here is a list of negative aspects of selfie obsession.

1. They reveal your narcissistic nature

It’s fine if you love yourself. Being proud of your looks is not an issue at all. The problem is that, as a rule, people go over the border and become obsessed with both taking their own pictures and then posting them. Most of the selfies we see on social networks have no value – all they demonstrate is how narcissistic some people are. It is sad if all you have to show the world is your outside. Make sure that you are not less impressive from inside!

2. Selfies could seriously put you at risk

Taking selfies can endanger the snapper. Selfie-takers are not only the teenage girls competing for the best duck face. Some people are ready to put themselves at risk in order to catch the best moment. Remember that bridges are not built for you to take pictures while hanging off and toeing the edge of a skyscraper is a very bad idea, too.
