If your children are restless, then consider this breed. Another good quality of Irish setters is that they are easily trainable. The Irish setter is smart and needs plenty of exercise. Make sure that your apartment is large enough. Be prepared to spend lots of time outside since Irish setters are active.

4. Poodle

The poodle is a breed that is known to be given funny haircuts by their owners. The breed is gentle and extremely intelligent. Poodles are recommended for families where there are people suffering from allergies. The reason why poodles are good is because they shed little. This does not mean that they do not need regular grooming, though! In general, the poodle will become a great partner for any kid.
