5 Reasons Why You Might Not Be Welcome On Board

You have probably heard that some people might be asked to leave the plane if they do not follow some certain rules. Sometimes we, passengers, are to be blamed for the delay.

3. Capricious stars
Gerard Depardieu, the well-known French actor did something that no one would expect from a mentally stable person! In 2011 he urinated on the carpet in his first-class cabin. Prior to this incident the actor asked to be allowed to use the WC. Since the plane hadn’t yet taken off, the toilet could not be used. The celebrity refused to wait another few minutes to use the toilet. The flight was delayed, the cabin was thoroughly cleaned and only then the plane could take off.

4. Bad movie choices
Being an overly caring and loving parent is not always a positive thing. In 2013 a couple flying from Denver to Baltimore with their 2 kids were asked to leave the plane. The parents did not like the movie that was being shown on the screens in front of their children. The movie was PG rated and appropriate for children of 13 years and older. The boys were 4 and 8 and their parent objected to their sons watching Alex Cross because, they explained, the movie was too violent and sexually explicit. The parents talked to the crew and politely asked to turn off the monitors. It was not possible unless the electricity was turned off. The captain decided that the situation might lead to something more serious and dangerous with aggressive passengers on board and diverted the flight. When the plane landed, Customs and Border Patrol workers as well as FBI made the family leave the plane. It was later determined that the couple was not harmful and can continue the flight. The family left for Baltimore on a later flight.
