There are too many useless devices, utensils and tools in your kitchen. And you may not own one or some of the following six essential things.
A Few Glass Jars
You may think that times have changed and that nowadays we no longer need glass jars in the kitchen. Wait a second and think again – glass jars are great since you can use them for packing meals. Some use them for buying bulk foods. It’s an excellent container for freezing leftovers. Glad jars are cheap, practical and safe. They do not let insects and oxygen in so whatever you store in them stays fresh for days.
Half Sheet Pans
You may own lots of baking sheets, especially the ones with open sides. Now you can get rid of them and use half sheet pans. They are as wide as a regular baking sheet yet they are more practical and useful. Half sheet pans fit in a typical oven and can be used to prepare vegetables. They are good for cakes and making many other dishes to your taste. If you worry about storage, then it’s not a problem at all – let your half sheet pans stand on their sides. Keep then in a cabinet. As a rule, a half sheet pan does not take up more space than an average cutting board.
