5. Rolling Pin
A rolling spin is a cheap utensil. But it still takes up extra space. If you are not obsessed with baking and seldom make cookies, then do not purchase a rolling pin. Instead of it you can always use a bottle, either full or empty. In order to keep the bottle from sticking, use plastic cling wrap. The wrap will help you keep the bottle free of mess. If you want to bake shortbread cookies or work with dough for pies, let the bottle chill first in the fridge for a while.
6. Wok
Woks provide plenty of space for prompt cooking. They retain heat quite well, too. However, these devices are huge. Again, instead of a wok you can always use a sauté pan! Give your preference to pans that are heavy and have clad bottoms. The heat will be hold high and dispersed evenly. Non-stick and light pans should be avoided – they cannot properly conduct heat.
