7 Destructive Thoughts Affecting Reality

Whining won’t do the trick. Only positive thinking can transform your reality.

Whining won’t do the trick. Only positive thinking can transform your reality.

Let’s admit that postponing and delaying things that can and should be done to make our life happier is the stupidest thing to do. Make yourself happy right now and right here! There are probably hundreds of exciting places to go and amazing things to see and do. The sad thing is that instead of enjoying them you keep promising yourself to accomplish them some day in the future. Alas, the future never comes. All we’ve got is the present! We are born to enjoy Life’s pleasures. Then go ahead and be the master of your own life – fill up your days with joy!
Please be wise and avoid the following negative thoughts:

1. “That’s too expensive for me.”
Really? What is it that you intended to buy? An oil rig? Well, then surely it is expensive. But usually we, women, think and wish for much simpler things. Three years ago I decided I would set aside some money to buy a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. And guess what! I got them. It took me a few months to set aside enough money to buy them, and no, I didn’t starve myself to make them mine. I love myself and I want you to learn to love yourself, too. We are worth the best stuff. No exceptions. Spoiling and pampering yourself is healthy, improves our mood, and boosts our self-esteem.

2. “No big deal. This can wait another day/week/year, etc.”
First, ask yourself why you’ve been putting something off and honestly answer whether the problem is time or money. As we know, where there is a will there is a way. And if we really want something to happen it will come true no matter what. Planning your budget and time depends on the level of your commitment. How dedicated are you to your dreams? Stop finding excuses and start actively achieving your goals.
