3. Teasing
Being teased is no fun. This is why dogs that are being teased tend to bite people. Usually dogs are teased by children. In order to avoid being bitten, your child should understand that there are some certain things he should never do to the dog. Leave your dog’s tail or ears alone! It is an annoying habit that people practice without realizing how annoying and painful it is to dogs.
4. Patting on your dog’s head or face
Patting does not equal rubbing. Be careful when you touch your dog. Just imagine how much you would dislike to be patted on your head or face. Not the most pleasant feeling, isn’t it? Watch how your dog reacts and if you notice that he pulls his head away from you or leans his whole body away, this is the first sign you should stop patting. The same rule should be taught to your children. Teach them how to treat the pet. Let them be careful and attentive. Pet your dog’s head and back very gently.
