3. Discuss activities, hotel and other arrangements together
Planning your trip is an important part of every successful vacation. Dedicate a couple of hours to do the most essential things together. Discuss what sort of hotel you would like to stay at and what kind of activities can interest both of you. Make a list of things to do and places to visit and see during your vocational period. Have a few options and choose the best one. Be understanding towards each other and prepare to compromise. Talk about the location of the hotel, services that you will need and find out more about the places of interests in the area. Book the tickets in advance and look for the cheapest alternatives if your budget is tight.
4. Be tolerant and patient
Your trip can either make you closer to each other or ruin your relationship. The problem is that during your travel you’ll be stuck to each other 24/7. Sometimes you might feel annoyed and irritated. Do not blame anything on your partner. Neither of you is guilty. You are just too excited and anxious when you travel abroad and stay in a foreign country. Cheer up and support each other when either your partner or you feel nervous, upset or tired. Talk about the positive side of things and ignore all the negative moments.
