5. Keep your silver shiny

Silver reacts to humidity. This metal is also sensitive to various chemicals. If you notice tarnish, you should know that this is a layer of corrosion. Silver turns black and loses its usual shine. You can make your silver shiny again. Just wrap your silver items with a silica gel pouch. The gel will absorb the moisture from the air.

6. Packing wet clothes

Whether you are returning from a swimming pool or beach, you usually pack up and put your wet swimwear in your bag. Before you return back home, the moisture has spread over your whole bag. Fight with the dampness by throwing a couple of pouches with silica gel into your bag.
