3. Try out a Breathing Technique
Take a deep breath whenever you feel anxious. Let oxygen fill up your lungs, blood and brain. A useful tip from those who regularly practice breathing techniques: before taking a deep breath, hold it first. Another thingyou can do is to breathe out – do it slowly and only then take a long and deep breath. Try out meditation if breathing is not your thing.
4. Recognize Your Plane Noises
Knowing noises is useful. Learn their meanings and recognize them. Most of what you hear is a common thing that always happens before, during or after the flight. Tray tables tend to rattle, carry-on bags have wheels that make noise when they shift and slide, etc. Go through each noise you hear and find out where it comes from. You will soon realize that none of the noises you hear signal danger.
