3. Make thoughtful gestures.
Keep proving that you think of each other even when you cannot see each other. Both of you should care about the details of each other’s life. Express your support by sending a message or calling your partner if, for instance, you know that he/she is having an appointment with an important customer. Wish each other good luck whenever either of you is about to do something life-turning. At the end of the day, talk about the events. Do not forget to ask if all of your partner’s family members are doing fine.
4. Be a good listener.
You can be either a talker or non-talker. The world would be a much better place to live if all talkers and non-talkers could match up. However, even if these two match up well enough, it does not mean that their relationship will be successful. People should also be good listeners. Whether you are a talker or non-talker, make sure that you are not a non-listener! It’s a myth that ladies can only be good talkers. The truth is that it is easier for ladies to process language since women have more nerve cells in the left hemisphere. Luckily, each of us is capable of learning to understand, listen and produce speech.
