3. Pay attention to people’s emotions
Forget about your wishes, needs and desires for a while. Remember that there are other people surrounding you who need your attention. They have feelings and emotions. They react to how you behave and how you talk to them. Treat people as if they are already your friends. Express your interest in other people’s emotions and feelings. Their inner world is not less important than yours. Be patient, understanding and tolerant.
4. Plenty of persistence
It’s fine to be afraid to reach out after negative experience in the past. You might need some time to restore and forget what has happened. After some time you will learn to trust people again. Do not be aggressive – your past is behind. Open up and welcome your future. Move forward and be persistent. A lot of things depend on you.
