Being taught about a foreign culture and history is also fun. Learn about your partner through what they are accustomed to. Share your knowledge and try to introduce your own culture to the beloved person. Getting to know each other is more exciting when you come from two different countries or even continents. Read books telling you about that country, talk to the person and discuss traditions and customs. Find out more about their national holidays and how people over there spend their leisure time. There’re so many things to learn and the learning process is never boring. Respect their culture even if something looks or sounds strange.

Learn the phrase “I love you!” in the language of the country that your boyfriend or girlfriend comes from.
