Developing mutual interests seems impossible

Pressing the other for intimacy and sex
Intimacy is what makes the bond stronger. Both partners need to feel sexually attractive and attracted to each other. If one of the partners avoids intimacy, then your relationship is not good enough. It won’t last long anyways. Do not waste each other’s time and either talk about it or leave each other since you cannot stay in a sexless relationship for the rest of your life.
